My Top Ten Albums

(in no particular order)

My all time favorite album is on Avery island Typically Avery island is overlooked by its younger sibling Aeroplane which is wild because Avery island is on the same level as Aeroplane and sometimes stands above it with songs like Naomi, Gardenhead, and Song against sex it really cements itself as a unique album in the world of music

SNAILCORE DELUCKS!!! Snailcore (by a bit) has passed gaburger as my fav Gez album The album is consistently good and has a decent run time Overall its like a 8/10 but it still one of my favs
(snailman is real)

Power chords is probably the best mike krol and dare I say garage rock album the album genuienly doesnt have any bad songs and compared to other Krol albums it has a long run time. this is THE album really inspired me to start playing and getting into music which may make me a little biased for it lol

The doors are such a fantastic band Jim Morrisons writing/singing is amazing and with Ray Manzarek on keyboards its absolutley fantastic. Although my favorite album by the doors is waiting for the sun I think very clearly its not their best work but like most other albums here it holds a special place in my heart

Im sure no-one's a stranger to Nirvana and while I would agree nevermind or in utero are far better picks I have a special place in my heart for the raw punk nature of incesticide. Alot of the songs on the album are either old songs or b-sides which give it this diy feel that even bleach lacked.

Dusk at cubist castle is a great album
inbetween bouts of psychedlic music you get beautiful
beatlesque tracks that really stand out
the album also has a very intresting idea
which makes it my favorite concept album and just generally one of my favorite albums

IFA wartburg really stands out. the first thing you need to know is that was made by two swedish guys, however, they come off so authentic in their presentation that if you dont know german you'd think they were serious it's also insane how they manage to sound good in the multitude of genres they try

Apples in Stereo are by far the most popish elephant six group. with Robert Schneider at the helm they rose to indie rock greatness. Through the years they have put out many albums but my favorite always tends to fall back to fun trick noisemaker

Everclear is one of the greatest post-grunge bands. The album world of noise, believe it or not, is a world of noise. The album is filled with feedback and just random other stuff that snuck its way in. But the fuzz enhances the album and brings out the 90's dirty rock charm

Phil Elverum's project the microphones is fantastic
it really gets the lo-fi sound and can go basically anywhere between songs whether it be distorted guitars or just tape hiss
